Biography
Chinara Mammad Gahramanova was born on June 28, 1983, in Baku into an intellectual family.
In 1990, she graduated from Secondary School No. 11 in Sumgait.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree with honors in Philology (Azerbaijani Language and Literature) from Sumgait State University in 2004,
followed by a Master’s degree with honors in General Linguistics from Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University in 2006.
From 2007 to 2010, she continued her postgraduate studies (aspirantura) at the Department of General Linguistics at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
Since 2014, she has held the positions of Lecturer and Senior Lecturer at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
In 2015, she successfully defended her PhD thesis titled "Lexical-Semantic Features of Dialectisms in the Novel 'Sachli' and Other Works by S. Rahimov," earning the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology. Since 2020, she has served as an Associate Professor in the Department of Azerbaijani Language.
A member of the New Azerbaijan Party since 2008, she was appointed as a member of the scientific seminar for the specialty 5706.01 – "Azerbaijani Language" under the Dissertation Council FD2.24 at Sumgait State University on May 23, 2024.
Chinara Gahramanova has participated and presented at numerous international scientific conferences and symposiums in Azerbaijan, Russia, Turkey, and France. Her research has been published in prestigious domestic and international scientific journals.
She is the author of 2 textbooks, 1 monograph, 2 curriculum programs, and over 60 scientific articles and theses.
On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of UNEC, she was awarded the "Advanced Education Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan" badge, along with an Honorary Decree and a Letter of Appreciation, by the order of the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev.
