Lect. PhD ESMİRA ƏHMƏDOVA

Ahmadova Esmira Mirmammad qizi graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Economic Cybernetics, and in 2004 completed her master’s degree in the same field with honors. In 2024, she successfully defended her PhD dissertation at UNEC in the specialty 5302.01 – Econometrics; Economic Statistics.

From 2008 to 2015, she worked at the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange, and in 2017–2018 at the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During this period, she also lectured part-time at the National Aviation Academy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 2019, she has been a lecturer at the Department of Applied Economics at UNEC.

She has successfully completed several international specialization and professional development programs, including “Linear Regression for Business Statistics” under the “Business Statistics and Analysis” specialization at William Marsh Rice University (Rice University, Houston, USA), and the “Digital Economy – Modern Industrial Revolution” specialization at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), among others.

E. M. Ahmadova is the author of more than 50 scientific papers and conference reports, 24 of which are directly related to her dissertation topic. Seven of her articles and eight theses have been published abroad — in Germany, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Belarus, Poland, the Russian Federation, Italy, and Singapore.

She actively participates in the social and academic life of the university and frequently appears as an economic expert on CBC TV’s program “Günün İqtisadiyyatı” (“Economy of the Day”) and other media outlets.

Əhmədova Esmira Mirməmməd qızı 2002-ci ildə Azərbaycan Dövlət İqtisad Universitetinin “İqtisadi kibernetika” ixtisası üzrə bakalavr pilləsini, 2004-cü ildə isə həmin ixtisası üzrə magistraturanı  fərqlənmə diplomu ilə bitirmişdir. 2024-cü ildə UNEC-də 5302.01 “Ekonometriya; İqtisadi statistika” ixtisası üzrə fəlsəfə doktoru proqramı üzrə dissertasiya işini uğurla müdafiə edib.

O, 2008-2015-ci illərdə Bakı Banklararası Valyuta Birjasında,  2017-2018-ci illərdə  isə Azərbaycan Respublikası Təhsil İnstitutunda çalışmışdı, eyni zamanda Azərbaycan Respublikası Milli Aviasiya Akademiyasında saat hesabı qaydada dərs aparmışdır. 2019-cu ildən hal-hazırda UNEC-in “Tətbiqi iqtisadiyyat” kafedrasının müəllimidir.

O, William Marsh Rice University (Rice University), Houston, USA, Linear Regression for Business Statistics,  specialization "Business Statistics and Analysis”, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) Specialization "Digital Economy – Modern Industrial Revolution» ixtisaslaşma və diger kurslarını uğurla bitirmişdir.

E. M. Əhmədova qızı 50 çox elmi məruzə və məqalə nin müəllifidir. Onlardan 24 dissertasiyanın mövzusu ilə birbaşa əlaqəlidir. 7 məqalə və 8 tezis Almaniya, Ukrayna, Çexiya, Türkiyə, Belarusiya, Polşa, Rusiya Federasiyası, İtaliya, Sinqapur kimi xarici ölkələrdə dərc olunmuşdur. E. M. Əhmədova universitenin ictimai həyatında fəal iştirak edir.

CBC telekanalının “Günün iqtisadiyyatı” verilişində və s.-də iqtisadçı ekspert kimi çıxış edir.
