Fidan Alinazim qizi Asgarova, born in 1984, graduated from Secondary School No. 20. In 2001, she was admitted to the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, majoring in Finance and Credit, and graduated with honors in 2005.
From 2002 to 2004, she worked as a translator at the oil company “Lukoil” and completed an English language improvement course at Westbourne Academy in London, United Kingdom.
Between 2004 and 2005, she worked as an auditor at the international audit company “Deloitte & Touche.” In 2009, she completed the MBA program at Odlar Yurdu University and began her teaching career.
In 2015, F. Asgarova defended her dissertation on the topic “Innovation and Evaluation of Economic Efficiency in Investment Design in Oil Production.” In 2016, she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics.
Since 2020, F. Asgarova has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the “Applied Economics” (in Russian) Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Since 2025, she has been serving as an Associate Professor at the same department.
F. Asgarova is the author of one methodological manual and fifteen teaching programs. Between 2012 and 2023, she published twenty articles, including three in the Web of Science database and one in Scopus. She is currently writing a book titled “Fixed-Income Securities.”
In 2013, F. Asgarova was awarded the title of “Best Teacher of the Year” at Odlar Yurdu University and received an Honorary Diploma. In 2018, she was awarded another Honorary Diploma at the international scientific conference “Women in Innovation and Creativity: Driving the Change,” dedicated to the 95th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. In 2020, she participated in the international scientific conference “Society, Education and Culture in the 21st Century” held in Smolensk, Russia, and received a Certificate of Participation.
