Kashiyeva Flora Shamil was born on April 1 in Baku. She graduated from secondary school No. 18 in Baku and entered the Azerbaijan State Economic Institute. In 1994, she graduated from the “Finance and Credit” faculty of the Azerbaijan State Economic Institute (now the Azerbaijan State Economic University UNEC). She began working as a teacher at the same institute in 1996/1997. Later, she worked as a teacher and senior lecturer. Currently, she is an associate professor of the “Finance and Audit” department. In 2008, she defended her dissertation on the topic “The role of monetary and credit policy in increasing investment activity in a market economy” and in 2009, she received the diploma of candidate of economic sciences from the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
