Assoc. Prof. FLORA KAŞIYEVA

Flora Shamil gizi Kashiyeva was born on April 1, 1971, in Baku. In 1988, she graduated from Secondary School No. 18 in Baku and in the same year was admitted to the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics.

In 1994, she graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Credit of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics (now Azerbaijan State University of Economics – UNEC).

She began her teaching career at the same institute in the 1996/1997 academic year. She has since worked as a lecturer and then as a senior lecturer. Currently, she holds the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Finance and Audit.

In 2008, she defended her dissertation on the topic “The Role of Monetary Policy in Enhancing Investment Activity under Market Economy Conditions”, and in 2009, she was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences by the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
