Latifa Gasimova is an English instructor, program coordinator, and translator based in Azerbaijan. She works at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), where she serves as the Program Coordinator for the Russian Economic School and the Turkish World Economics faculties. In this role, she is responsible for academic coordination, curriculum implementation, and supporting students’ language development within specialized programs.
In addition to her academic responsibilities, Gasimova works as a part-time online translator at the Public Relations Department of UNEC, contributing to institutional communication through translation and language support for official materials and international cooperation initiatives.
Born on June 1, 1996, in Tovuz, Azerbaijan, she developed an early passion for languages, initially studying German before transitioning to English at the age of thirteen. Through consistent dedication and professional development, she achieved advanced English proficiency, including an overall IELTS score of 8 and 8.5 in Speaking.
Gasimova teaches university students and adult learners, specializing in practical communication skills and international exam preparation, particularly IELTS and TOEFL. She is recognized for her clear explanations, engaging teaching style, and ability to simplify complex linguistic concepts for learners of different proficiency levels.
She is committed to lifelong learning and interdisciplinary growth, with professional interests in language education, psychology, and nutrition. She aims to obtain international certifications in these areas while continuing to support learners in achieving academic and professional success.
