Assoc. Prof. LEYLA MEHDİYEVA

Mehdiyeva Leyla Tofig gizi was born on June 25, 1972 in Baku. In 1989, she entered the Baku branch of the Leningrad Financial and Economic Institute named after N.A. Voznesensky. In 1994, she graduated from the Azerbaijan State Economic Institute with honors. In 2001, she entered the dissertation program at the Institute of Economics of ANAS. In 2005, she defended her PhD thesis. She is a candidate of economic sciences. In 1994-2008, she worked as a teacher at the Baku Business University. Since 2008, she has worked as a senior teacher at the “Tax and Taxation” department of the Azerbaijan State Economic University. Currently, she is an associate professor of the “Finance and Audit” department of the Economic University. She is the author of 15 scientific works. She is married and has two children.
