Prof. MÜSLÜMAT ALLAHVERDİYEVA

I am Muslimat Allahverdiyeva, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, born on February 23, 1960, in the village of Baş Daşagıl, Oğuz district.

I completed the village school with excellent marks between 1967 and 1977. From 1980 to 1984, I graduated from the Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy with a distinction diploma in the specialty of “Əmtəəşünaslıq” (Commodity Science).

I worked in my specialty at the Mingəcevir Ticarət İdarəsi (Mingachevir Trade Department) until 1992. Between 1992 and 1994, I pursued full-time postgraduate studies (aspirantura) at the Azerbaijan Texnologiya Universiteti (Azerbaijan Technological University).

From 1994, I worked as a 0.5 Assistant and Senior Lecturer at the Bakı Dövlət Əmtəəşünaslıq Kommersiya İnstitutu (Baku State Institute of Commodity Science and Commerce). In 2000, I started my professional activity at the Azərbaycan Dövlət İqtisad Universiteti (UNEC) (Azerbaijan State University of Economics).

In 2004, I defended my dissertation on "Tikili mallar bazarının kompleks təhlili və proqnozlaşması" ("Comprehensive Analysis and Forecasting of the Built Goods Market") at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, earning the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences. In 2006, I was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor (Dosent). Since 2012, I have been working on my doctoral dissertation titled "İnteqrasiya prosesində transmilli biznesin tənzimlənməsi problemləri" ("Problems of Transnational Business Regulation in the Integration Process") at the AMEA-nın İqtisadiyyat İnstitutu (Institute of Economics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences - ANAS).

On February 12, 2023, I defended my doctoral dissertation in the specialty 5307.01 – “İqtisadi nəzəriyyə” (“Economic Theory”) at the ED 1.10 Dissertation Council of the ANAS Institute of Economics, receiving the academic degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences.

I have published over 100 scientific works. My articles have been published in journals indexed in the SCOPUS and Web of Science systems, as well as in prestigious journals in Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine, Poland, and Germany.

I am the author of two textbooks, “Beynəlxalq marketinq” ("International Marketing") and “İstehsal müəssisələrində kommersiya” ("Commerce in Production Enterprises"), three study guides, and two monographs: “Transmilli biznesin təkmilləşməsi: nəzəriyyə və praktika” ("Improvement of Transnational Business: Theory and Practice") and “Transmilli biznesin iqtisadi-hüquqi aspektləri” ("Economic and Legal Aspects of Transnational Business").

I was included in the ranking list of the 100 best teachers in the differential salary system applied at UNEC during the 2018-2019 academic year.

In 2018, I completed an internship at Hacı Bektaş Vəli Universiteti (Nevşehir), Turkey, within the framework of the Mövlana mübadilə proqramı (Mevlana Exchange Program). I have presented at Scientific and Practical Conferences in Germany, Italy, Turkey, Tatarstan, and various cities of Russia.

I was honored with the Təhsil Nazirliyinin fəxri fərmanı (Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Education) on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of ADİU (Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics).

I am a member of the Scientific Seminar operating under the ED 2.46 Birgə Disertasiya şurası (ED 2.46 Joint Dissertation Council) at the Azərbaycan Respublikası Kooperasiya Universiteti (Azerbaijan Republic Cooperation University), and the Scientific Seminar established under the ED 2.10 Disertasiya şurası (ED 2.10 Dissertation Council) at UNEC for the organization of $\text{PhD}$ and $\text{DSc}$ dissertations in the field of economic sciences.

By the order of the Azərbaycan Respublikası Elm və Təhsil Nazirliyi (Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan) dated June 8, 2025, I was awarded the “Qabaqcıl Təhsil İşcisi” DÖŞ NİŞANI ("Advanced Education Worker" Breast Badge) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Currently, I work as a Professor at the “İqtisadi və texnoloji elmlər” ("Economic and Technological Sciences") Department of UNEC (Azerbaijan State University of Economics).

I am married and have two children.
