Nermin Khalilova is an English language instructor at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Philology (2017) and her Master’s degree in Linguistics with distinction (2020) from Azerbaijan University of Languages.

Her academic interests include applied linguistics, language pedagogy, second language acquisition, and modern methodologies in English language teaching. She has participated in various international conferences and professional development programs related to innovative approaches in language education.

Nermin holds several professional certifications, including TESOL & TEFL (120 hours), IELTS teaching qualification, Aptis for Teachers (C level), and certificates in experiential learning, English for Business and Entrepreneurship, and American English Teacher Development Series.

Since 2021, she has been serving as an instructor at UNEC’s Department of Foreign Languages, where she teaches English for academic and communicative purposes. She also actively contributes to curriculum enhancement and supports students’ linguistic development.
