Assoc. Prof. Nərmin Quliyeva

Narmin Tofig Guliyeva was born on January 16, 1977 in Baku. She studied at school No. 20 in Yasamal district in 1983-1993 and entered the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics in 1994. In 1998, she graduated from the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics with honors in the specialty "finance and credit". In 1998, she entered the master's program of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Economics. In 2000, she graduated from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics with honors in the specialty "finance and credit". Since 2000, she has been working as a senior laboratory assistant at the "Banking" department at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, and in 2001, N.T. Guliyeva worked as a 0.5-staff teacher at the "Organization of Customs Work" department. In 2003, she was promoted to full-time teacher of the same department. In 2005, he defended his candidate's dissertation on the topic of "the problem of the convertibility of the national currency". On April 11, 2006, the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan awarded him the degree of candidate of economic sciences. In 2019, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was awarded the scientific title of associate professor in the department of "organization of trade and customs affairs". Since September 15, 2019, he has been appointed to the position of full-time associate professor in the department of "management". More than 25 scientific works have been published, including "the problem of the national currency and its convertibility" (monograph 2003); "systemic currency relations and international trade economic relations" (monograph) (textbook, Baku 2017). 

Three of his scientific works have been indexed in prestigious scientific publishing platforms (Scopus and Web of Science).
