Lect. SEVDA ABBASOVA

   He was born on July 6, 1975, in Düzqırıxlı village, Tovuz district. He received the first three years of his secondary education at the No. 1 village school and completed his full secondary education at Sumgait city No. 28 Mathematics-Oriented Secondary School. In 1992, the same year he graduated from secondary school, he was admitted to the "Social Sciences and Psychology" faculty of Azerbaijan State University, specializing in "Economic Theory." In 1997, he completed his studies in this field, earning qualifications as an economist and an economic theory teacher.

In 1997, he began working as a laboratory assistant in the Department of Economic Thought History at the Institute of Economics of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences. From 1998 to 2000, he worked as a senior laboratory assistant in the "General Economics" department at the Baku State Institute of Commodity Studies and Commerce. From 2000 to 2003, he continued working in the same department as an assistant. Between 2003 and 2011, he worked as a part-time assistant in the "Economic Theory" department at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). Since 2012, he has been working as a full-time lecturer in the same department. Currently, he is a senior lecturer in the department.

He has authored 20 scientific articles. One of them was published in a scientific journal in Dnipro, Ukraine; another was published in a Scopus-indexed scientific journal in connection with UNEC's anniversary; and the rest were published in the journals of various national and international conferences held at different universities within the country. In 2022, his article was accepted at the International Science Conference held at MDU, for which he also received a certificate. A second article was accepted for publication at the International Conference held at ADNSU on the 24th and 25th and is currently being prepared for publication. A third article has been submitted to a Scopus-indexed foreign scientific journal and is under review. The fourth article has been sent to the International Conference to be held at BANM in April and has already been accepted.

He is married and a mother of two children.
