Born on February 14, 1967
in Baku, Azerbaijan.
From 1974 to 1984, received secondary education at
School No. 240 in the Nasimi district of Baku. In the same year, was admitted
to the Faculty of Physics at Azerbaijan State University named after S.M. Kirov
(currently Baku State University), graduating with distinction in 1989 with a
degree in Physics and qualification as a Physics Teacher. That same year,
commenced full-time postgraduate studies at the Institute of Physics of the
Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, specializing in the physics of
semiconductors and dielectrics.
In 1992, successfully defended the Ph.D.
dissertation titled “Excitons in Layered Crystals Activated by Ions of Rare
Elements,” earning the academic degree of Candidate of Physical and
Mathematical Sciences. Since then, has held positions of Junior Research
Fellow, Research Fellow, and Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of
Physics.
Since 2002, has served as a Senior Lecturer in the
Department of Physics at Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
In December 2006, was appointed Associate Professor
through a competitive selection process.
Currently holds the position of Associate Professor at
the Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences at UNEC (Azerbaijan State
University of Economics).
Has presented scientific papers at numerous national
and international conferences and symposia, receiving awards and certificates
of recognition.
Author of more than 100 scientific articles, 20
educational manuals, and 1 scientific invention.
Married, with two children.
