Lect. SEVİL ƏLİYEVA

Sevil Aliyeva is an experienced English language educator and teacher trainer with strong academic and professional credentials. She graduated with distinction from the Azerbaijan University of Languages in 2000, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics. In 2002, she completed her Master’s degree in Philology at the same university, also graduating with distinction.

She holds several internationally recognized qualifications in language teaching, including the Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT), TESOL/TEFL certification, and the Aptis for Teachers certificate, achieving an outstanding score of 195 out of 200.

Sevil was both a participant and a teacher trainer in the “Teachers of the 21st Century” professional development program organized by the American Councils for International Education. In this role, she supported fellow educators in developing modern teaching skills and applying innovative approaches in the classroom.

Since 2021, she has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). She is also a trainer at the university’s annual International Forums of Foreign Language Teachers, where educators share best practices, discuss new methodologies, and explore current trends in language education.

Sevil is passionate about modern teaching techniques and continuously works to integrate new ideas and research-based methods into her practice. She is committed to professional growth and to improving the quality of English language education through both teaching and teacher training.
