Asst. Prof. TEYMUR SƏRXANOV

Teymur Sarkhanov was born in 1985. He received his higher education from the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan with a bachelor's degree in Management, and then completed his master's degree in the same specialty at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. In 2015–2021, he received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Management from Sakarya University, Republic of Turkey.

He currently works as a teacher and head of department at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). During this time, he has been teaching subjects such as "Management", "Fundamentals of Business", "Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship", "Information Management", "Modern Management Approaches" and "Managing Innovations in Business". Before his academic career, he worked as an accountant in various companies.

Teymur Sarkhanov is the author of numerous articles in various local and international scientific journals (Scopus and ESCI indexed) in the fields of management, economics, energy security, tourism and labor market. His scientific research is conducted on the basis of international cooperation, statistics and econometrics-oriented methodologies.

In addition to being a native speaker of Azerbaijani, he is fluent in Turkish, knows English at an intermediate level, and Russian at a beginner level. Currently, in addition to continuing his scientific activities, he is also actively engaged in pedagogical and project-oriented activities.
