Assoc. Prof. TÜNZALƏ QURBANOVA

Tunzala Tofiq gizi Qurbanova graduated with a bachelor's degree in Finance and Credit from Baku Business University in 1999, and in 2001 she completed her master's degree with distinction.

From 1999 to 2008, she worked at the same university as a laboratory assistant and lecturer. In 2008–2009, she worked as a corporate client specialist at Bank of Azerbaijan OJSC. From 2009 to 2014, she was a research fellow at the Institute of Economics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) and taught part-time at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).

Since 2011, she has worked at UNEC’s Department of Finance, first as a lecturer and senior lecturer. She currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Finance and Audit.

In 2007, she defended her dissertation titled “Theoretical aspects of the impact of financial policy on economic development in Azerbaijan” at the Institute of Economics of ANAS and was awarded the scientific degree of PhD in Economics.

She is the author and co-author of 43 scientific works, including 1 textbook in Azerbaijani, 2 teaching aids, 2 methodological guidelines, 2 syllabi, and 36 scientific articles. 21 of her scientific publications were written after the defense of her dissertation.
