Farzaliyev Yusif Bahadur oglu was born in 1951 in the village of Narishdan, Aghdara region.
In 1969-1974, he studied at the Faculty of History of the Azerbaijan State University (now BSU).
In 1974, he began working as a teacher in the village of Charektar, Aghdara region, on a temporary assignment.
In 1975-1976, he worked at school No. 4 in the city of Khankendi.
In 1976, he worked as a teacher at the “General History” department of the Khankendi Pedagogical Institute through a competition.
In the 1988-1989 academic year, he worked at the Pedagogical Institute named after H. Zardabi.
From 1989 to 1999, he worked at the Shusha branch of the Azerbaijan State Institute named after Lenin.
In 1984, he received the title of Candidate of Historical Sciences. In 1989, he was elected as an associate professor.
In 1999, he worked as a teacher at the “History of Azerbaijan” department of the Baku State Institute of Commodity Studies and Commerce.
Since 2000, he has worked at the “History of Azerbaijan” department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics.
Currently, he is an associate professor at the “Humanitarian Sciences” department of UNEC.
Since 2000, he has been a member of the New Azerbaijan Party.
He is the author of the works “Governor-General of Karabakh Khosrov bey Sultanov” (2009), “Voices Coming from History” (scientific editor T.A. Bunyadov, ¬ Baku, Publishing House of the University of Economics, 2013).
