Major
Scientific Achievements
- Developed an economic-mathematical method ("Credit
Impulse" and "Refusal Impulse") to solve the mutual debt
problem, along with its solution algorithms. Introduced the concept of the
debt cancellation multiplier based on J. M. Keynes’ theory, calculated its
value for Azerbaijan’s economy, and conducted analysis.
- Modified K. Marx’s reproduction schemes to study the
economic development dynamics of resource-rich countries, identifying
unique development patterns. Demonstrated that the imbalanced development
trends (e.g., financial crises) in such countries are linked to the
exploitation of natural resources and the generation of surplus value or
capital.
- Developed a macro-econometric model of Azerbaijan's
social and economic development and forecasted key macroeconomic
indicators.
- Designed an "Input-Output" model of
Azerbaijan’s economy under market conditions and conducted corresponding
analyses.
