Asst. Prof. ZÜLFÜQAR İBRAHİMLİ

Dr. Zulfugar Ibrahimli is a performance-oriented strategy and development professional with a notable record of success in developing organizational and operational strategies in the corporate environment. Currently, he is a lecturer in Strategy&Management at the International School of Economics, Azerbaijan State University of Economics. Prior to entering academia, he worked in the private sector as organizational development and strategic planning professional. Moreover, simultaneously with his academic career, he is working as an independent strategy and development consultant, the list of his clients includes banking, insurance, and marine transportation companies. Furthermore, he worked as a consultant in several projects of EBRD, EU, ADB, and USAID. His Ph.D thesis was dedicated to the managing of intellectual resources, also he is the winner of the post-doctoral fellowship scholarship of Islamic Development Bank in the field of entrepreneurship. Dr. Ibrahimli’s areas of teaching include Strategic management, HR management, general and innovation management at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Also, his research interests include competitive strategy formulation, disrupted innovations, strategic HRM, and SMEs funding and capacity development.
