The article presents the results of research conducted on water and silt samples taken from river waters located in the southern region of Azerbaijan. Microbiological and physicochemical analyses were performed on the samples, and it was determined that the temperature ranged between 6 and 28 degrees C, pH between 6.9 and 8.6, and dissolved oxygen between 4.5 and 11.2 mg/L, depending on the sea

APPROXIMATE OPTIMALITY CONDITIONS AND MOND-WEIR TYPE DUALITIES FOR QUASICONVEX PROGRAMMING IN TERMS OF THE SLATER CONSTRAINT QUALIFICATION

This paper is devoted to the study of the approximate optimality conditions and Mond-Weir type dualities for quasiconvex programming problem with objective and constraint functions being quasiconvex functions. By introducing the Slater constraint qualification, necessary and sufficient approximate optimality conditions for the quasiconvex programming problem are given. Moreover, the approximate

CHARACTERIZATION OF G-LIPSCHITZ SPACES VIA COMMUTATORS OF THE G-MAXIMAL FUNCTION

Let MG be the Gegenbauer maximal (G-maximal) function and b be a locally integrable function. Denote M-G(b) the G-maximal commutator of M(G )with b. In this paper, we consider the boundedness M-G(b) on the Lebesgue and G-Morrey spaces when b belongs to the Gegenbauer-Lipschitz (G-Lipschitz) space, by which some characterizations of the Gegenbauer-Lipschitz spaces are given.

ON THE TOPOLOGICAL STRUCTURE OF THE SOLUTION SET FOR A SYSTEM OF FRACTIONAL SEMILINEAR DIFFERENTIAL INCLUSIONS IN BANACH SPACES

In the present paper we prove that the set of all mild solutions to a system of fractional semilinear differential inclusions with Hille-Yosida operators in Banach spaces is an R-delta-set, i.e., it can be represented as the intersection of a decreasing sequence of compact contractible sets.

Contribution of entropy analysis on three-dimensional Prandtl model under Hall and ion slip effects with generalized mass and heat fluxes via OHAM

Mar 2025 14 (1) , pp.93-109

The major concern of proffered study based on the inquisitive analysis of entropy approach based on 3-D Prandtl fluid influenced by modified advanced heat conduction along with mass diffusion models. Moreover, influence of Hall and also slip forces and heat transmission characteristics are featured under the combined outcomes appertaining to radiations and viscous dissipation are taken into acc

Analysis of entropy generation on Darcy-Forchheimer squeezed hybrid nanofluid flow between two parallel rotating disks by considering thermal radiation and viscous dissipation

Aug 2024 (Early Access)

The objective of this research is to explore the hybrid nanofluid squeezing flow inside the two consecutive parallel disks. NiZnFe2O4+MnZnFe2O4 (nickel zinc ferrite + manganese zinc ferrite) hybrid nanofluid is made using a 50% engine oil mixture as the base fluid. Entropy generation is evaluated using the second law of thermodynamics, and the behavior of a porous media is assessed using Darcy'

Solvability and Optimal Controls of Impulsive Stochastic Systems in Hilbert Spaces

Apr 2025 (Early Access)

This article investigates the solvability and optimal control of a class of impulsive stochastic differential equations (SDEs) within a Hilbert space. Primarily, we justify the existence and uniqueness of mild solutions (MSs) for the proposed impulsive SDE, leveraging fixed-point theorems and appropriate analytical techniques. Next, we identify and derive the necessary conditions for the existe

Optimizing thermal stability and structural integrity in polystyrene nanocomposites with rutile TiO2 nanoparticles

Apr 2025 51 (9) , pp.11618-11626

The structural, thermal, and optical properties of TiO2/Polystyrene (PS) nanocomposites were investigated to understand the effects of incorporating rutile-phase TiO2 nanoparticles. The nanocomposites were synthesized using a solution mixing method followed by hot pressing. Structural analysis, employing both Scherrer's and Williamson-Hall methods, revealed that the crystallite size increased a

In vitro cytotoxicity, gene expression, bioinformatics, biochemical analysis, and in silico analysis of synthesized carbonitrile derivatives

In this work, an efficient single-step green synthesis protocol of 2,3,4,4a-tetrahydroisoquinoline-5,7-dicarbonitriles was applied with the purpose of their biological activity studies. It was found that the cytotoxic activities of 2,3,4,4a-tetrahydroisoquinoline-5,7-dicarbonitriles in the SHSY-5Y cancer cell line were most active after 72 h of incubation. It was determined that 1,6-diamino-4a-

On the road to environmental sustainability: the role of ICT penetration, renewable energy, and investment freedom on load capacity factor

Apr 2025 (Early Access)

In an economy that supports clean sectors, investment freedom is pivotal in ensuring ecological sustainability, while information and communication technologies (ICT) facilitate the rapid spread of this positive impact. This study investigates the influence of renewable energy supply, investment freedom, and information and communication technologies penetration on the load capacity factor in D

An examination of rhetoric in relation to China's renewable energy plans in light of the dual-carbon aims

Wang, YQMi, W(...); Cy, A
May 2025 59

China's ambitious Dual-Carbon objectives aim to peak carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, yet the alignment between policy rhetoric and actual implementation remains uncertain. While the government has emphasized renewable energy investments and sustainability narratives, challenges persist in policy enforcement, regional disparities, and the effectiveness of local go

Drivers of entrepreneurship in Europe: the role of digitalization, innovation, capital investments, unemployment, and sustainability

Purpose This paper examines the impact of digitalization, innovativeness, capital formation, unemployment and sustainable development on entrepreneurship in European countries. By analyzing data from 42 European Council countries between 2000 and 2021, the study aims to uncover the relationships between these factors and entrepreneurship, with a focus on upper-middle-income and high-income coun

Sustainable hydrogen production by water decomposition in gamma radiolysis with post-modification studies of nano-BeO photocatalyst

Apr 2025 (Early Access)

Background: There is a great demand for green hydrogen energy due to climate issues and economic pressures globally. Therefore, hydrogen production was achieved by water splitting using a nano-BeO photocatalyst. Results: The hydrogen produced using BeO + H2Oads and nano-BeO + H2Oliq systems was 9.0 x 10(16) (at 7 h) and 32.8 x 10(16) (at 5 h) molecules g(-1) at 300 K. The hydrogen production wa

How do digital government, circular economy, and environmental regulatory stringency affect renewable energy production?

Renewable energy is widely acknowledged as the most viable solution to deal with the issues of climate change and energy security risks. Previously, the studies focused on the traditional macroeconomic determinants of renewable energy production while ignoring novel factors such as digital government, circular economy, and environmental regulatory stringency. Therefore, our main focus is to exa

Spillovers across the crude oil and major currencies exchange rates using dynamic-quantile-frequency analysis

This study examines the link between the daily price changes of WTI and major global currencies from 2000 to 2022. It utilizes mixed dynamic-frequency-quantile-based models to provide new insights into their interconnectedness. Significant price volatility spillages were observed between the two markets, particularly between the oil and JPY currencies. It suggests that the Euro and the Swiss fr
