Web of Science API Expanded Subscription at UNEC and Its User Benefits

As of February 1, 2026, UNEC has activated its subscription to Web of Science API Expanded. This Clarivate product subscription will provide users with the following benefits:

Access to a broad scientific database
UNEC faculty and students will have access to millions of articles published in the world's most reputable journals. This enhances the quality of research and allows users to stay informed about the latest scientific developments.

Automated data retrieval
Through the API, the university’s researchers and laboratories can automatically retrieve scientific data via software. This saves time and enables faster processing of information.

Tracking and analysis of research metrics
UNEC can efficiently monitor the research activities of faculty members and departments, including citation counts, impact factors, and other research metrics. This is important for evaluating the university’s academic performance.

Additionally, it should be noted that metrics of UNEC-affiliated publications integrated from the Web of Science Core Collection into the AVESİS system will be automatically added to the authors’ profiles.
